The following registration programs are for adults only who wish to volunteer to coach a youth basketball team.  If you are looking for youth basketball registration for a child in grades Pre-K - 12, please register with Westport Parks and Recreation at www.westportrecreation.com.

Coaches - Please find the appropriate grade and gender of the league you wish to coach in as they are now individual.  If you wish to coach in two or more leagues you will have to go into two or more different registration programs.  Fill out one first and then go back and select the second one.  You can always edit your registration by logging into your profile if you have to change a request such as practice day or time.

PLEASE MAKE NOTE THAT BY THE TIME THE SEASON STARTS ON NOVEMBER 28th, ALL COACHES MUST HAVE:

1. A completed and up to date background check - required once (1) per year.  Go to https://opportunities.averity.com/westportparkrec to complete your background check.
2. An up to date membership in the NYSCA which means you have to complete the online coaching certification course and keep it current.  Go to www.nays.org for completion and updating.
3. Completed concussion training.  This can be done and linked with your NYSCA membership and certification and is a free add on.  Go to www.nays.org for training.
